05 / BEFORE YOU START
YOU SHOULD BE COMFORTABLE
IN THE WATER.
You don't need to be a competitive swimmer.
But you do need basic swimming ability and to be comfortable in water too deep to stand.
01 / SWIM
200 METRES
Without swimming or buoyancy aids.
OR
02 / STAY AFLOAT
10 MINUTES
Float or tread water in water too deep to stand, without swimming or buoyancy aids.
300 METRES
Using a mask, snorkel and fins.
No time limit. The swim must be completed continuously, without stopping or standing.
Your face must remain clear of the water throughout.
