I was too young & distracted to grasp the entirety of these parting words from my high school teacher then. Today though, these make more sense than ever!

 

Greetings, fellow adventurer!

I am Arunkumar Naik, hailing from the sun-kissed shores of Coastal Karnataka & raised amidst the bustling cityscape of Chennai. Adult life has taken me on a journey of discovery, leading me to study, work and experience five wondrous locations in India, and two beyond its borders.

 

I am a Chef by training, an HR Manager by accident and a Scuba Diver by choice. Above all, I’m a proud husband to my wonderful wife who is busy conquering the corporate world.

 

My love affair with scuba diving began years ago in the Philippines. The first time I submerged into the depths of the Philippine seas, I knew that I had found my calling. It was a transformative experience that led me to become a full-time scuba diving instructor, teaching and exploring across not only the Philippines but also the Maldives and India.

 

As a scuba diving instructor, my philosophy is simple - to ignite the same sense of wonder and awe that I experienced when I was first introduced to the magic of scuba diving. Every bit of your experience on this journey will be curated keeping this in mind.

My hope, is to have the opportunity, to take you on a fantastical voyage, to share with you the marvels that await beneath the waves and the wonder that is scuba diving!
