Several days on an island, multiple dives and time to settle into the rhythm of diving. Neil gives you the chance to stop feeling like someone who recently learned to dive — and simply start feeling like a diver.

HI.
I'M ARUN.
Chef. MBA. HR professional. Scuba instructor. Not necessarily in the order you'd expect.
I didn't grow up dreaming of becoming a scuba instructor.
I started out as a chef, went on to do an MBA and spent seven years working in Human Resources. A move to the Philippines eventually introduced me to diving — and somewhere along the way, what began as something I enjoyed became something I wanted to understand properly, and eventually teach.
I became a scuba instructor in 2021 and have since taught and dived in the Philippines, the Maldives and across India.
I started Naik Scuba Academy in Chennai in March 2024, with a fairly simple idea: I wanted people in India to have access to the kind of thoughtful, personal dive education that I believe creates good divers.
For now, when you learn with NSA, you learn with me.
The team will grow.
